Camps

We offer several programs to fill your holidays. Western Days (a one day program) or Summer Horsemanship Camps (a week long program) are available to people of all ages and riding abilities.

We can also arrange special events such as birthday parties, family get-togethers, and more. Contact us for more details.

Note: All participants must sign a Release & Waiver Form prior to participating in horse related events and activities at Still Meadows Ranch.

Western Days

Spend a day at the ranch and experience the thrill of a lifetime. This one day program (available for both kids and adults) includes an introduction to riding, safety and horse care. The day may also include other ranch activities such as tours, scavenger hunt, bale tag, hay rides, and more. Lots of fun for everyone.


Summer Horsemanship Camps

Welcome to SMR's Summer Horsemanship Camps - a fabulous way to spend your holiday time. Come for lessons, games and fun.

We offer programs for ages 6 to 15. Or call about our specially designed camps for families (ride and learn along with your kids!), groups and adults. Don't let the summer pass you by - spend time at the ranch, improve your horsemanship skills and have tons of fun!

These day camps are intended for the beginner to advanced rider (ride your own horse or use one of ours). The camp includes training on horse care and handling, extensive riding experience (arena, trail and pasture), cattle round ups, gymkhana, games on horseback, and other ranch activities. All activities can be experience and weather pending.

Quality instructors will teach horsemanship in a SAFE and FUN manner.

We will be offering beginner and advanced camps. Approval will be required to get a spot into the advanced camp.

The beginner camp is a great way to get started. Everything from horse care, catching, tacking, riding, and day-lie chores will be covered. The camp is a great way to get the full ranch experience and a good start in the saddle. There will be limited spaces so make sure to get your registration form in quick!

The advanced camp will have a different theme each day. It will jam packed and fun filled. We will cover many different disciplines. This camp is a great way to get experience in many different areas of the horse industry. The students will have some daily ranch chores/responsibilities and will spend lots of time in the saddle. Activities can/may include English and Western riding, horsemanship/reining, gymkhana/games, barrel racing, cattle work, roping, halter breaking foals, etc. Space is limited so make sure to get your registration form in quick!
